Seemed like a pricey investment for a new "hobby," but glad I made the leap. First of all, I'm so new to knitting that I didn't realize these work for flat or circular projects. As background, like many beginners, I started with a single pair of bamboo needles, which quickly proved too short. Next I tried a set w/ longer needles that were crazy awkward and not well made. So I did a deeper dive down the rabbit hole of needles and settled on this make/model. The minute I used them, I was sold. They felt SO much nicer than bamboo. And being able to switch sizes as quickly as I switch basic learning patterns is wonderful. I'm very happy with weight and construction. While I didn't need the decorative box, it arrived in pristine condition. I did keep the little board the needles are attached to. If I had one improvement, it would be to include a pouch-type container for the needles.
